Disaster Relief in Citrus and Levy Counties
Dec 13, 2024Providence Baptist Church in Lecanto, FL hosted a Disaster Rebuild team from Oregon this past week. The church housed and fed the team while they restored a home in Crystal River that was flooded by #HurricaneHelene. Local churches provided building supplies, tools, food, transportation, and all that the team needed for the work. Laborers from Providence Baptist, Cornerstone Baptist, FBC Dunellon, and FBC Ocala also worked together to rebuild another home in the area. Woodside Baptist provided their van for transportation from the Tampa airport and to the job site each day. Watch this heartwarming video to see the homeowners' reaction to seeing their tattered American flag replaced and restored.
